Welcome to WhautoVoice

WhautoVoice turns the phone numbers you already own into a business phone system with an AI voice agent on the front line. The AI answers every call, books, reschedules, qualifies and answers questions, and hands the calls that need a person to your team in a browser softphone. It all runs on your own Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage account and your own OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI key, so nobody sits between you and your providers.

This help centre walks you through every screen in the app, from creating your account to reading your first report.

Who WhautoVoice is for

WhautoVoice suits any business where the phone still matters and the team cannot always pick up.

  • Clinics and dental practices. Book, reschedule and confirm appointments around the clock, send anything urgent straight to a person, and recall lapsed patients with an outbound AI agent.
  • Home services and trades. Every call is answered while the crew is on a roof. Emergencies ring the on-call agent and quotes get booked.
  • Real estate and lettings. Qualify enquiries the moment a listing goes live, book viewings, and hand hot buyers to the right agent with notes.
  • E-commerce and retail support. Order status, returns and store hours are handled by the AI agent. Refund disputes and VIPs go to the team with the contact already looked up.
  • Restaurants and hospitality. Reservations, opening hours and directions are answered during the rush. Large parties go to the manager.
  • Agencies and consultancies. Run voice for many clients from one login, each in its own workspace with its own numbers, AI agents, queues and provider keys.

The five building blocks

Everything in WhautoVoice sits on five pieces. Once you understand how they fit together, the rest of the app makes sense.

Building blockWhat it doesWhere you manage it
Telephony providerYour Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo or Vonage account. It carries the audio and bills you for the minutes at its own published rate.Settings > Integrations
Phone numbersThe numbers callers dial. Buy them inside WhautoVoice or use numbers already in your provider account.AI & Call Handling > Phone Numbers
RoutingWhat answers each number: a call flow, an AI voice agent, a call queue, a specific agent, voicemail or an announcement, with business hours on top.Phone Numbers > Route calls to
AI voice agents and call flowsAI agents hold a natural conversation from a plain-English prompt and hand off when your rules say so. Call flows are visual menus that press-1-for-sales callers through to the right place.AI & Call Handling > AI Voice Agents and Call Flows (IVR)
Your team and the browser softphoneAgents answer, transfer, hold, record and wrap up calls in a browser tab. Presence, queues and round-robin ringing keep the desk moving.Settings > Team and the dial button on every page

Bring your own keys, zero markup

Most voice AI platforms sell one per-minute rate that bundles telephony, the AI model and their own margin. WhautoVoice does the opposite. You connect your own provider accounts, pay them at list price, and pay WhautoVoice a flat monthly fee for the platform.

Audio goes straight between your provider and the AI engine, and your credentials are encrypted at rest. Your numbers, recordings and carrier relationship stay in accounts you control, so leaving is a decision rather than a migration project.

Flat plans, no overage

Plans start at US$39 a month with a 14-day free trial and no card. If you use up your processed minutes in a busy month, calls pause until the cycle resets or you add a block of minutes, so there is never a surprise bill. See Understanding subscription plans.

What you need before you start

  • A Twilio, Vonage or Plivo account with a little credit on it. You will paste its credentials into WhautoVoice.
  • An OpenAI, xAI Grok, ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI API key for the AI voice agent. One key is enough to begin; you can add the others later.
  • A modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) with a microphone, and permission to use it. This is your softphone.
  • About 15 minutes. Most teams place their first test call in that time.
Emergency calls

The browser softphone and AI voice agents do not support emergency numbers such as 911, 999, 112, 995 or 000. Keep a regular phone line for emergencies.
